Singin' the modem blues

So here I am, a new member to DeviantArt. Gots my account set up somewhat satisfactory, and I'm ready to release my artsyness on the site.

But it's not happening. At least not in the tempo I want. I'm stuck with this old crappy slow prehistoric 56K modem that just doesn't seem to agree with me. As much as *I* like the DA site, as much does my modem equally hate this site.

Everything is slow beyond comparison. It takes me forever to upload just one picture. Looking at the amount of things I *want* to put up here, it'll take me an entire evening to accomplish this.

That won't happen though, as I don't think I can find a time slot in my life that allows me to do this. Instead, I'm stuck with uploading one or two images at a time. I've uploaded the two first images now, and more will follow eventually...

*sighs*

I can't wait until I get my damned DSL modem. Mmmm speedy modem goodness.
